Portugal’s Champalimaud Foundation gets 50M euros for a new pancreatic cancer center

The Champalimaud Foundation has received 50 million euros from the family of the founders of the French multinational food-products corporation, Danone, for the construction of a research and treatment center for pancreatic cancer. The institution’s president made the announcement on Tuesday, September 4th.
