• The Use of Cannabis for the Treatment of Pain, on February 26 at 7:00 pm, at Saint Barnabas Wellness Institute at Leon & Toby Cooperman JCC MetroWest, 760 Northfield Avenue, West Orange, NJ.
This educational session will review the history of cannabis use, current national legalization movements, the basic scientific rational for its use, and its risks and benefits in the treatment of pain.

• Ongoing Childbirth and Parenting Classes – Siblings Class, on February 2, at 9:00 am, at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, 94 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ.
A class for the whole family designed to reduce children’s anxieties when separating with their mothers at the time of delivery. This class promotes a good feeling about the hospital and provides children with realistic expectations of newborn babies.
The fee is $40 per family.

• New Moms’ Circle and Breastfeeding Support, on February 24 at 10:00 am, at Saint Barnabas Wellness Institute at Leon & Toby Cooperman JCC MetroWest, 760 Northfield Avenue, West Orange, NJ.
Saint Barnabas offers a free support group led by a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in post partum adjustment.
Topics include transitioning to parenthood, mood changes, baby blues vs. postpartum depression and myths of motherhood. A breastfeeding group follows at 11:30 am.
