PALCUS

PALCUS (Portuguese-American Leadership Council of the United States) is currently accepting applications for its scholarship and internship programs. According to the organization, “these are excellent opportunities to help further young Portuguese-American’s academic and professional careers.”

There are also opportunities to study abroad in Portugal through various university programs.

Visit the PALCUS website (palcus@palcus.org ) for full information and eligibility for its Education and Cultural programs. These programs are made possible through foundation grants and donations, and also community member donations. The organization asks the public to consider making a donation to help PALCUS continue its programs that ensure the Portuguese-American youth to be successful.

The PALCUS Internship Program was established in 1994 to provide Portuguese-American students with work experience in their field of interest.
