The UMass Lowell’s Saab Center for Portuguese Studies and Lowell National Historical Park present a keynote address on Saturday, May 11, 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The talk, titled “Overworked, underpaid, but making their way: The Portuguese in Lowell, MA, 1880-1980”, is free and open to the public, and will be held at Boott Cotton Mills Museum, Lowell National Historical Park, 115 John Street, in Lowell, MA. It will be delivered by Dr. Robert Forrant, distinguished Professor of History, Lowell, Massachusetts.
