Newark celebrates Earth Day with free electronic waste collection event

Newark residents can contribute to a cleaner and healthier community in honor of Earth Day 2018 by bringing their old electronics to a free e-waste collection event taking place, rain or shine, on Thursday, April 19 at Peter Francisco Park, located between Edison Place and Ferry Street near Penn Station in Newark’s Ironbound District from 7:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
